Spirit of Philadelphia Wedding | Saida + Godifred

Sprit of Philadelphia Sunset Cruise Wedding | Philadelphia, PA

Saida and Godfred’s wedding was the my first wedding of 2021… the year that many couples had to reschedule their wedding due to covid. It was one of many intimate weddings I photographed, and it was the one that made me fall in love with micro-weddings all together - how it’s filled with intimacy, intention, and quality. From the getting ready to the final dances, they made me feel like I was part of their big day… as more than just their photographer. Also, LET’S HEAR IT FOR NON-TRADITIONAL OUTFITS FOR THE GROOMS!!!!

Longwood Gardens | Jennifer + Neepak

Longwood Gardens | Kennett Square, PA

If only Longwood Gardens weren’t 3 hours away from me, I’d recommend that place to all my couples who are envisioning any greenery in their engagement photos. I love it there! And it’s so versatile and big, that you wouldn’t really feel suffocated with all the extra photographers or visitors passing by. I’m so glad Jen and Neepak picked this place. My college roommate is all grown up and marrying a man who never stops making her laugh. Fate brought these two together one fine day at the gym, and the rest is history. It’s really refreshing to see when two people are perfectly fitting for each other in so many ways. I see that in these two. <3

See their proposal here. Or one of their earliest couple session. Or a fun video we did. :)

Liberty State Park Engagement | Kyle + Adam

Liberty State Park | Jersey City, NJ

I will never forget how barren Liberty State Park was during this engagement photoshoot. It was a crisp, April evening in Jersey City during the covid pandemic and all I kept saying was “wow, I can’t believe we have this entire place to ourselves.” I come to this park often, since it’s about two miles from where I live, and I’m certain I won’t have this wonderful opportunity again. We took full advantage of it though, and tried to fit as many of the backdrops as we could with the little time we had on our hands. Initially we were going to have this session at Branch Brook Park during PEAK cherry blossom season, but we were so unlucky with the rain, and kept postposing our dates. Although that surely would have been super beautiful, there’s something about this set that I just love so much. Maybe it’s the urban setting. Maybe it’s because I get to showcase Jersey City (my backyard). Maybe it’s because the NYC skyline was just perfect that night. Or maybe it’s because there weren't 20 other photographers fighting for the same spot, and that allowed for a bit more intimacy. Whatever it was, I thought it was the perfect day. I can’t wait to be a guest at their wedding here at Maritime Parc this December!!
